Easter Sculpture

Thanks to the festival of contemporary sculpture “Season of Arts” which already became annual, in 2010 a number of participants created the compositions that continued creating the gallery of unusual author outdoor sculptures.

The sculpture “Easter” made of metal in the shape of Easter egg was created by Izhevsk master of decorative plastic Dmitry Postnikov, and now it decorates the Sobornaya Square of the city of Perm.

The Easter egg is associated with the fertility of the earth, the spring rebirth of nature, a symbol of resurrection and eternal life.

The Easter egg enlarged to the size of the urban sculptural object impresses with its light and airy structure thanks to the openwork surface of the sculpture.
