And there was an ancient legend…

Perm Region is famous for its beautiful and rich nature. At Dmitry Pribylnov’s sculpture there are motives of Perm’s animal style, which reflects the views of forefathers about the world and man in it. Legend’s main characters were creatures, combining people’s and animal’s features and, also spirits of the heavenly and underground worlds. Round sculpture reflects these images. Ancient lizard symbolically portrays foundation of the world. Two anthropomorphic creatures on its back reflect indissoluble connection of man with nature spirits. The author of this sculpture is Dmitry Pribylnov. It was established in 2007.
