Full name is Ioanno-Predtechenskaya Svyato-Nikolskaya Church. The local history experts say that it is the youngest, but the most “long-suffering” church of the city because just a few years after the consecration it was closed to worshipers and handed over to GULAG (Central Administration of Prison Camps). For many years the factory shops where the prisoners were working were located inside the church. Only in 1994, after 60 years, Nikolskaya Church was removed from the territory of the colony and its restoration was started.
Now it is the working church under the nunnery near the former colony derived in 2014 from the city center.
