Golitsyn estate was built in 1815-1818. This spacious two-story manor with office ground floor and suite of circular living rooms is designed in the classical style. The facade of house is oriented to Kama. The mansion is an important component of beautiful Usolsky ensemble.
Namely about these estate complexes the writer P. I. Melnikov-Pechersky wrote the travel notes: “Before us lies Usolye ... A number of beautiful stone houses that would not be superfluous even in the capital are stretched along the banks of Kama River”. The Author of the project is probably A. N. Voronikhin perhaps his follower – I. M. Podyachev.
Currently, museum “Golitsyn Estate” is opened in the building – a branch of Berezniki Historical and Art Museum. The museum staff conducts the game programs devoted to the traditional household and ritual culture of “noble nest”.
